Pittsburgh Super Computing Center is holding a FREE one day workshop this September 28th , 2026, on GPU Programming Using OpenACC. This will be an IN-PERSON event hosted by several satellite sites.

ISU has released new guidelines for the use of AI agents in the cluster.  This document can also be used to train the AI on acceptable behavior within cluster.

Nova will be undergoing routine maintenance on Tuesday, January 12, 2027.

On April 20th 2026 ISU in coordination with Dr. Aditya Balu will be hosting a FREE workshop on Distributed Parallel Deep Learning.

On March 25th, 2026 the GP-ENGINE National Research Platform is hosting a FREE in-person workshop at ISU from 9am-12:30pm at 206 Durham Center.

Starting on July 1, 2026 (FY27), the cost of LSS research storage will be decreasing from $40/TB/year to $20/TB/year. The new rate should apply automatically to all shares once the new fiscal year begins.

On February 24th, 2026 Iowa State University will be hosting a FREE workshop on using Slurm in an HPC environment. Participants will be given access to ISU's own HPC cluster Nova.

Nova will be undergoing routine maintenance on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
