Nova & Pronto Maintenance - January 6, 2025

Nova & Pronto will be undergoing maintenance starting on January 6, 2025. We will be merging the Pronto nodes into Nova. Following the maintenance, all users will connect via the Nova login node.

LSS Maintenance - July 30, 2024

Large Scale Storage (LSS) will be down July 30, 2024 for regular maintenance. Expected downtime is 1 day.

Pronto Maintenance Aug 6, 2024

Pronto will be unavailable starting August 6^th beginning around 8 am for maintenance. This maintenance may take a few days. We will send out a notice as soon as we are done and pronto is back up.

Nova Maintenance - August 6, 2024

Nova will be undergoing routine maintenance on August 6, 2024. Downtime is expected to be about a day but may be longer. Jobs with time limits that cross the maintenance window will automatically be held and started once work completes.

Pronto Maintenance - May 15, 2024

Pronto will be undergoing routine, triannual maintenance on May 15, 2024 starting at 8 am. Maintenance may last multiple days; however, every effort will be made to keep the downtime as short as possible.

Nova Maintenance - May 14-15, 2024

Nova will be undergoing routine maintenance on May 14, 2024. Downtime is expected to be about a day but may be longer. Jobs with time limits that cross the maintenance window will automatically be held and started once work completes.

Walk-In Support

New to cluster computing? Got problems getting your job to run? Just want to ask some questions in person? Research IT offers walk-in support in 0205 Durham on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 2-5 pm.
