NRP Workshop - March 25th, 2026

On March 25th, 2026 the GP-ENGINE National Research Platform is hosting a FREE in-person workshop at ISU from 9am-12:30pm at 206 Durham Center.

This workshop will be leveraging the large distributed computing resources available through the National Research Platform (NRP). By utilizing Nautilus, the NRP HyperCluster, you can gain access to a vast array of cutting-edge GPUs, ideal for facilitating AI research and accelerating your research. The tutorial will cover the fundamentals of running machine learning and GPU jobs on the Nautilus HyperCluster. 

Participants will learn about basic concepts of Kubernetes, deploying jobs and pods to Nautilus, running GPU jobs, and scaling computer vision models using job automation. The hands-on workshop will encourage participants to assist each other and apply what they learn to their own research problems. This workshop does assume familiarity and comfort with the command line as a prerequisite.
