To use the GUI version of Stata:
1. Connect to the VPN if off-campus.
2. Go to https://nova-ondemand.its.iastate.edu
3. From the top menu, click "Interactive Apps" and select "Nova Desktop".
4. Set options as you see fit and click "Launch".
5. Wait a few seconds for the desktop session to start, then click "Launch Nova Desktop".
6. When the desktop appears, click "Applications" in the upper left corner.
7. From the application menu, go to "Statistics" -> "Stata" -> "Stata17" and click.
8. After a couple of seconds, the Stata/MP GUI should appear.
